Thursday, June 30, 2005 Those 'Brilliant' Liberals One of the memes that deserves a stake through the heart is the idea that liberal Democrats are smarter than conservative Republicans. John Kerry's underperformance in college compared to George W. Bush was amusing. Howard Dean's destructive lack of self-control makes him the Anti-Rove. But Nancy Pelosi's ignorance of essential Constitutional concepts is just downright scary. I weep for a nation that can produce no better quality opposition than this. No wonder the Democratic first resort to dealing with issues is invective, blame, and character assassination.
