Wednesday, October 20, 2004 Edwards, Primping and Preening. I saw the clip at Drudge of Edwards tenderizing his hair. I didn't think it was all that odd because, like the Kerry Mary Cheney gaffe, it didn't surprise me. Politicians seek advantage where they can, they risk making themselves look ridiculous on a daily basis. I have to say though, with all the bunny suit, windsurfing and trail bike pics, and that godawful pic of Kerry playing center on the tarmac, Kerry has lost on the absurdity front. Bush must be thinking of Voltaire - "Lord, make my enemies ridiculous." 6:08 AM | | |
