I happen to think that the high officials in the Bush administration are doing a great job. I have no idea if the polling data shows that Cheney, Powell, Rice, Rumsfeld, etc. are a plus or a minus for the administration, but I have a feeling that the competence, intelligence and professionalism these people demonstrate (or the illusion thereof) has just gotta be a net plus in getting Bush reelected.
I haven't seen the Bush campaign make much of this advantage(?) - or is this point being made on tv and I am just missing it? (I don't have a tv, and so I get news from WLS-am Chicago and KRLA Los Angeles, and from surfing blogs until my eyeballs droop).
